Even if you can't afford a trip to some exotic place like the Mediterranean or South America traveling close by can be just as fun. I have taken many trips to places within the US and they are always really fun. Every year for Christmas my family and I go to Montana so we can have the perfect white Christmas. Taking small trips like this can be awesome and way less expensive than going some where really far away.
